During the Drama Queens Freedom Dreaming
event, participants engaged in meditation, discussion,
memory work, and creative expression.
The archive page compiles what came out of this.
As a precursor to the archive, we offer additional context
for what questions this archive responds to.
FRAMEWORK
In collective discussion, participants
were asked the following questions:
1. What does Freedom Dreaming mean and look like to you?
2. What is the importance of Freedom Dreaming?
During creative expression, we asked participants to express their
Freedom Dreams in a form that feels most natural to them
(ie: sketching, poetry, creative writing, stream of consciousness,
songwriting, collaging, singing, performing, etc).
Beyond asking “What does your ideal world look and feel like?”,
we offered participants the following guiding questions:
When we are successful
in our resistance,
what will Ghana
look like?
In our ideal
world, what does
accountability
look like?
What does education
look like in a
world without
oppression?
What does
alternative,
universal
architecture
look like?
What do
loving systems
of health look
like?
